So I finally got my permit yesterday. Going early to the DMV really is the way to go, got there when it opened and I was out in less than 45 minutes. The test itself was surprisingly easy, I got them all correct. Big laugh @ the guy after me being told he got "ELEVEN out of twenty wrong." I also opened up a Savings/Checking account at WaMu afterwards. Put in the CASH MONEY i got from City so I don't waste it all like I did last year (mostly on food). Other than that, life is good I suppose... doing good in school and now I have things to do such as learning how to drive. Hopefully this trend of good things continues through the rest of the year and the plans to visit the jerks aren't delayed or postponed for unforeseeable reasons.

HOLY SHIT I GOT MY $1500 FINANCIAL AID CHECKS ALREADY.

First test today, did pretty good except for like 4-5 questions I wasn't too sure of. Anyway I have another day off tomorrow and then no more days of vacation for about a month, which is whenever Columbus Day is (my sources tell me its October 13th- I'm my own source and therefore it must be wrong). Long day today but I got a lot accomplished I'd say. Started reading the driver's manual and it looks fairly simple so far except for the right-of-way stuff which I need to read over again tomorrow or later tonight. Either way I'm hoping to learn everything in the manual by the end of next week so I can take the written test. Like I've said before, this is me we're talking about so the likelihood of me buckling down and reading the rest of this shit by next week is slim... but I'm trying. Also I have failed thus far in my attempt to really learn how to cook anything new so I may or may not start this week. If not this Friday, then definitely the next unless of course I go take my written test. AND WE ALL KNOW HOW THATS GONNA END LOLOLOL =]

Should be a good week coming up. Only two days of school but I'm still missing one of my textbooks!!! lol. Anyway this coming week will make 3 weeks since school started... I must say that its gone relatively fast, though I suppose thats the case when you only have 2-3 classes a day and you don't have classes on Fridays. Things are starting to pick up though as far as homework goes. I do have a lot of idle time on my hands so I really should stop procrastinating on my homeworks and whatnot. So I suppose it's a good thing I have only two days of class this week so I can do all my assignments before this weekend. I should also be getting started on the big accomplishment I wanted to fulfill by years end- getting my driver's license. Originally I had planned on getting my license by November or December but I really do want to visit all my jerks at their various locations before the end of this semester. So hopefully I'll have learned how to drive by mid-late October so I can go up to Oneonta for a weekend. Then for November I'd head to Penn State and get fucked up over there as well... and we'll see what December brings. The likelihood of this happening? Well since it's me... not likely at all- BUT for the best of friends, I'll sure as hell try.

College would be perfect if textbooks were free... Just sayin'.
